Requirements for steel structure installation

Because of its light weight and simple construction, steel structures have been widely used in large factories, venues and other fields. The requirements of steel structure are summarized for reference.

1: Requirements for steel structure installation

(1) Before installation, process test or evaluation shall be carried out for measurement and correction, installation of high-strength bolts, negative zero construction and welding process.

(2) After the structure forms a spatial stiffness unit and is connected and fixed, the installation deviation shall be detected.

(3) During installation, construction loads such as roof and wall platform shall be controlled. Snow load, etc. shall not exceed the bearing capacity of beams, floor slabs, roof slabs and platform laying.

(4) After the space unit is formed, the gap between the column base plate and the top surface of the foundation shall be poured with fine aggregate concrete and grouting materials in time.

(5) The tension flange of crane beam or beam directly bearing dynamic load, crane truss or truss directly bearing dynamic load and its tension chord shall not be welded with hangers and clamps.

2: Foundation and bearing surface, installation and correction requirements of steel structure

(1) The positioning axis, foundation axis, elevation and anchor bolt of the building meet the requirements.

(2) The deformation and coating peeling of steel members caused by transportation, stacking and hoisting shall be corrected and repaired.

(3) The lines and elevation datum points of main components such as steel columns shall be complete.

(4) When the steel beam is installed on the concrete column, the deviation of its support positioning axis shall not be greater than 10mm. When large concrete roof slabs are used, the deviation between steel beams shall not be greater than 10mm.

(5) The component surface shall be clean, and the main surface of the structure shall be cleaned of sediment and other dirt.

3: Installation requirements for top plate of steel structure

(1) Pay attention to the perennial wind direction when laying steel plates, and the overlapping of plate ribs shall be opposite to the perennial wind direction.

(2) The connection between steel plates only overlaps with one rib, and the big side needs to be fastened at the small side.

(3) At the ridge, the steel plate should be bent up about 80 degrees to form a water baffle, and 10 degrees below the gutter to form a drip line.

(4) A gap of about 20~50mm shall be left between the two slope steel plates at the ridge to facilitate the insertion of bending tools. The gap should not be too big or too small. Profiled steel plate at gutter extends about 100~150mm.

(5) The fixing self tapping screw shall be perpendicular to the steel plate and purlin and aligned with the purlin. Before driving the nails, draw or hang lines to make the nails hit in a straight line.
